No Drainage Fill!

How do you fill pure water into your tank with no drainage?

When using the Water fed pole to clean the windows we all know that filling up can be costly on top of equipment going wrong i.e pump, connections, poles etc.

When filling up in a hard water area we have to use a reverse osmosis system to soften the water and take out the majority of inpurities in the water before it flows through a resin filter to bring the ppm down to 0. But this can be costly as the system especially a pure freedom system will reject around 80% of the water which will be wasted down the drain.

My tank use to take over 10 hours to fill, it is a 400 ltr tank and it was costly and time consuming. I decided one day to feed the water coming out of the drainage back into a spare resin filter (a powerful resin filter £40.00 from ionics ) and then back into the tank which was great no drainage but still time consuming.

Then when I had about 3 spare filters (they change colour to brown to indicate they need changing but still can be used if you use 2-3 of them)

I simply plugged my the hose from my back garden into the first filter linked to the second filter linked to the third filter and then let one run into my tank at a massive flow compared to what I had before, I filled the tank in 20 minutes with the ppm flowing from 0.07- 0.30,

but thats not a problem because when the tank is full you just simply pump the water back out into the filters and back into your tank taking ppm down again and cleaning the resin filters.

Absolutely no drainage from this way of doing it and it works fine.
