Avatar 2 to be released in 3 years

So it is official Avatar will have a sequel to come out in the next 2-3 years as that is how long it will take to produce.

James Cameron has signed a mega bucks deal with 20th Century Fox to make to the next 2 films. He has also said that even if he had the script in front of him now it would still take 3 years.

James Cameron came up with the idea of Avatar in 1994 however he needed to wait for technology to advance before he was able to do it and spent the next few years refining the technology.

Avatar revolutionised the way we watch cinema and it was depicted the way Cameron wanted. Avatar 2 & 3 will be a continuation of the characters who we have seen. Sigourney Weaver has signed up even though she died in the last one and Stephen Lang who played the colonel in the first one is hoping to make a return.

When Avatar 2 & 3 is made it will be made quicker and cheaper according to Cameron, But one thing is for sure with all the promoting of the first film and a lot was spent on the advertising the second film to the story won't make more than the first as when the first came out it was a break through and revolutionised the way we watch cinema, and it paved the way for other films using similar technology, But is the hype over?

When Avatar was release it was released in 3-D but in some cinema's in Korea it was filmed in 4-D, The film grossed over $2.5 Billion beating the last record which was the Titanic held by Cameron again which took $1.8 Billion breaking the Billion $ mark for the first time in the film industry.
