9/11 the day the world stood still

The shocking thing about 9/11 is how the terrorists managed to take control of 4 commercial airlines with no real hiccups, But more shocking than that is how was it wasn't done sooner.

If back in 2001 they could board planes with knives and take control of these airliners then how has it not happened before.

In 1993 the World Trade Center was hit with a bomb underground killing 6 people and injuring a lot more. The head of security at Morgan Stanley, Rick Rescorla quickly realised that the twin towers were major targets to terrorists and believed it would happen again it was only a matter of time.

Him and his team quickly started to make changes and made Ground Zero which it was referred to even back then a bomb proof zone.

But Rick Rescorla knew that they would come back and started to think of other ways they could attack, And if they couldn't succeed from the ground then the only way was in the air.

He took a plane around Manhatten to see what the likely hood was and realised it was a possibility.

Rick Rescorla went down in the south tower after getting hundreds of people out and will always be remembered as the man who predicted 9/11 although that isnt 100% true, He just thought another attack was highly likely.but respect to him he was a real hero.

The day the twin towers went down changed the way we think and what we thought was possible.

I have seen a lot of footage and it still to this day just seems surreal. These terrorists were brain washed into believing they were going to a better place and that death was the start of life, But the contradiction to these mass murderers is that you go to a better place for serving your religion in the right way, i ve never read the Quran but I would be amazed if it stated that in order to move on from this life you need to go out and kill thousands of innocent people what sort of religion would this be if it did?

These hate clerics how on gods green Earth are they still walking about, They incite hate and breed evil yet they sponge off the government and get benefits its mind boggling.

9/11/2001 will never leave me or many of you, The innocent people who died on that day is haunting, It's been 10 years but this day will be remembered forever everyone knew where they were on that fateful day.
