Im Talking to you as someone who has smoked weed an 8th a day if i had it maybe more and smoked mine purely in Bong's But we called them Tutor's. It consist's of a bong "bottle" a drop pipe and some water in the bottle, Put tobbacco in first just a little bit though then put the green in grounded up, burn the content's and inhale the smoke. All Day everyday i used to do this and i wasn't content with going with out through the day.
Quitting Weed is a tough task if you are really in-to it. The main thing is it's a mental addiction and can hold you in a pattern that you won't get out of unless you start taking step's toward's breaking free. If you smoke 1-2 spliff's a day then it should not be as difficult as you may think, You have to cut that right out the first couple of day's will be hell but you are just breaking the habbit that isn't that strong anyway for you. When i quit i smoked up to an 8th more if i had it a day and that in weight is 3.5 grams. The first thing i did was question why i smoked it and what benefit's i could have if i didn't, i weighed the 2 up and of course i would save alot more money and the reason i smoked it was through either boredom or to sleep at night ( which i really did depend on ) Now i know this hub will relate to alot of people especially if you have come across this with the keywords " How to Quit Smoking Weed " and you are struggling with your effort's, I Know i have been there and the best advice io can give to you is this,
The Advice
Remember Weed/Resin Is a drug and you have a habbit, A mental addiction that you want to get out of, When ever you try and break a habbit that you have had for a number of years the first few week's will be very difficult and you will want to give up it would be easier to smoke right?
Wrong because you are feeling this way through either health issue's or money and if you gave up on giving up then you would no doubt feel like this again and be back at phase 1. You have to really want to quit in order to succeed and this goes for smoking tobbacco or any type of drug, I have only ever smoked weed as an intense habbit and it was tough as nail's to break the habbit but that's all it is a habbit, When you have quit and you have been successful you will feel proud with a sense of achievement and when time passes you will be amazed as to why you smoked it ( tobbacco aswell ) and why you spent so much time chasing it, the phone call's made the driving involved but mainly the money spent on it,
2 Year's on i am a different person, 8 Years i smoked Weed everyday and was content with my life, then the day's i didn't have it i realised i was more energetic i wanted to get thing's done and get busy and that got me thinking, Why do i smoke it, What money would i save if i didn't have it and then i worked a plan out cut right down to £5 worth a day ( 0.8 ) to help me sleep then after 3 weeks i started to sleep without it every 2 day's i had a 5 bag and then it went down to once a week to nothing a week.
I didn't seek help i knew the only one who could help me was me and that was down to how much i wanted to quit, Dig deep and find the real reason's behind you wanting to give up and bring this up everytime you feel you are going to fail, Addiction is hard and you do need praise just to make you realise how well you are doing so make sure your family know what sort of problem's you are tackling as you are now realising there is more to life than Weed!

i wish i could stop smoking weed, it has controlled my life for 20 years, its now got to the point where it might just cost me my family, this isnt what i want, how do i stop, ive tried but it sends me in rages that i cannot control, please help, any advice is good advice, thanks.

Weed is very addictive and its a serious problem for many. I have recently given up but its not the first time. Every time I stop the same thing happens, my sleeping pattern is disrupted I stop eating and I feel really depressed. But after a while you get stronger, fitter and happier. It's so easy to get sucked back in because weed is a way of blocking out the things that you don't what to feel, and as a musician I used to use the excuse that its “helps” with creativity? But that's not really true because I started playing the guitar when I was 12... I started smoking when I was 17 so I was lying to myself.
Since I've stopped it's really hit me how stupid I have been and how much time was wasted smoking and being unproductive. In the end you have to drop your friends who are still smoking, if they aint ready to give up then they wont encourage you to stop either. This is the way life is, you will have ups and downs that's normal.. getting high cant save anyone from that. The way I look at it is you have to be happy with what you have and your health is number 1 so look after it before the weed ends up smoking you.
